Pictures With Friends

The Pictures With Friends collaborative has been a nice change. I used some old pictures for some of the prompts, but here is my start with this fun group. I like it best when I get to see pics from Wyoming. :) Antique: Sea Glass Collection  Fire Photobomb Pop of Color Smoke Something you don't see every day Winter Sports Winter View Winter Water

Project 52

I did the Capture Your 365, but decided to do just 52 Weeks this year, as my time is limited. Here is my collection, thus far: Week 7: Depth of Field  Week 6: Pink Week 5: {I heart} My View Week 4: Resolve Week 3: Balance (Picture of the Day)  Week 2: White Week 1: Reflections of Me The prompts the first week revolve around self-portraits. So this was an all-encompassing shot to correlate this week.

About a Girl and Her Babies...

This is from my project About a Girl and Her Babies. Madelynne has an ultimate "motherly" composition for her set of dolls. She is compassionate, loving, and takes them out with us pretty much everywhere we go. I wanted to capture those precious moments before she gets too old and doesn't want to play with her babies anymore. Here are some of my favorite moments. You can follow and view the whole compilation at my Flickr account:  Flickr Goes to the beach Goes on walks Carries her on her back Rides, buckled up, in the car Eats with us Explores Gets check ups Goes to the park Balances Goes on bike rides Gets to steer the ship

Busy Doesn't Even Cover It...

Life got the best of me. I have failed to update my blog and have failed to take care of me. Lots of things have piled up and I feel a bit disillusioned by my purpose and monumentally confused about my journey. However, it doesn't keep me from contemplating the next path and where life will lead me in the long run. Brad is gracious, though. I sometimes don't give him enough credit, but he is an amazing man. I am blessed that he puts up with my shenaningans, triumphs, and tribulations, and so effortlessly takes my hand as we dive into the abyss of the next adventure. I often think if we had not met 14 years ago, where we'd be today...if he'd still be in NY or FL. Would I be out here in WA? The what ifs gnaw at me a bit before dissipating at the sound of that sweet laughter from our child, who is now our world, and I can't imagine what any "what if" would have brought me other than longing for more "what ifs", so cheers to 14 more years and count
