Mindless Meanderings of Schroedawg

Jaxson has been growing like crazy, meeting a few milestones along the way. He is on the move, sort of. Really, he just rolls from one side of the room to the next and recently has been getting into the army crawl. He gets up on all fours and rocks, but then gets lazy and ends up scooting to where he needs to be via the army crawl or roll around the floor. Soon enough he'll be moving faster than we can keep up! He has more teeth coming in, which is always fun. Either he's cranky from cutting teeth or happy go lucky. There is no in between. Because of his teeth, he is able to chew better and now eats at the table with us. We bought a booster seat, so he regularly sits with us and eats some of the same foods. He is also quite the talker. He loves to say "Dada" and scream or screech, most of the time to just hear his own voice, I believe. We keep playing and reading to him. Soon he'll be as chatty as Maddy, so we're enjoying these moments as they are. Here

After our whirlwind trip to Wyoming, we spent the rest of the time in Colorado with my parents. We had a fantastic turkey dinner the day after Christmas at Lindsey's. We then took Damion up to Buena Vista for a few days to spend time with his cousins and us. Lindsey and Joe met us for New Year's. It ended up being a great vacation and much needed break from reality.
