She is almost two. Her vocabulary blows me away. She is strong-willed, gaining independence, and more than just my little baby anymore. She's full blown toddler, smart, keeps me on my toes, and makes me smile every day. What a blessing she is...whether it's gearing up for her 2nd 4th of July... Or relaxing at the pool, Cheesing it up for the camera,  Or pretending to be too cool.  Getting her hair styled, Or napping with her "friends",  Having a tough day, the story never ends.  Reaching a new milestone,  Riding a train for the first time,  Helping mommy cook.  Licking the spoon clean, tastes so divine.  Enjoying her first Ball Game, Never letting froggy go, Being disgruntled or defiant,  Or needing help to go. Being silly like her cousin, Lost in slumber, escaping in dreams, Playing the sprinklers on a hot afternoon, And exploring the world to the seams.  Her d

The best part about our trip was visiting and spending time with family. This post is devoted to the generations of family we visited and some of the important people in Madelynne's life. Being 6 is entertaining, honest, and imaginative. Spending four weeks with my nephew has proven what an amazing little guy he is growing up to be. Our summer adventures consisted of... Geocaching, Sleeping after long days of play, Meditating, Indulging in sweet treats, Creating a world of ninja warrior fighting bugs, Coloring,  (Going in my classroom!) Being silly, Being a ham, Wanting to be the center of attention at all times, which meant purposely posing for pics.  Being an example.  Climbing trees. Tae Kwon Do Goofing around.
