Haunted Photo Fun

Be sure to click on the "Older Posts" link below, to read about our busy lives, as of late. But here are some fun photos I have taken in honor of October and Halloween. Apologies for the redundant spider web photos----they are just so fascinating and we have had many of them, that they have captivated my attention. :) Fog in the cemetery  Beads of dew Old tombstones Vibrant orange pumpkin Spooky! Pumpkin Patch

Going to the Pumpkin Patch in Sequim has also been tradition for us. We have gone every year to get our pumpkins, so we invited our friends, Nikki and Steve, to join us on the venture. It was fairly chilly with the fog still rolling in and no sun, but it was still fun. Madelynne had already been earlier in the week with her daycare, so this was a special treat for her. We ended up buying two pumpkins and bought the rest from a local grocer, Sunny Farms, because they were a bit cheaper. It didn't stop us from going through the patch, enjoying the fire, and watching the boys try to get a pumpkin into a barrel to win a $100. Fall

I have had some fun taking pics of the fall foliage this year. I didn't do it last year and regretted it, so here is a taste of the changing season from the PAC-NW. Mushrooms are every where this time of year.  Just around a corner... Dungeness Crab Fest

We enjoyed visiting the local and annual Dungeness Crab Fest. It is something we have looked forward to every October. This includes indulging in a crab dinner and crepes from our favorite crepe company near Kingston, WA, who has a booth at the festival every year. We brought our crab hat from last year and Maddy (and Brad) wore it. And we enjoyed one of the nicer days. This is tradition for us. It's a great way to support local companies and enjoy a great festival with brews, wines, live music, good food, and super nice Canadians that border hop for this event in particular.
