Snowshoeing

Earlier this month, when it was in the high twenties down at sea level, we decided to venture up to the Ridge for our first snowshoeing trek of the season. We bought Madelynne a cheap sled, piled in Steve and Nikki's Jeep, and went up the mountain for an afternoon of snowshoeing. It was COLD. But in the sun, it felt great. Madelynne wasn't a big fan of the sled and only stayed in it for a little while before Brad ended up having to carry her. We also were "bad", by feeding the camp robber's. Hey, at least they weren't bears. Aside from the brutal cold, we had a nice time.
