We parted ways with my parents and Brad, the kids, and I headed north, back home, along highway 101. Other than not being the sharpest tool in the shed (note to self---call and reserve campsites WAY in advance, because there was no room in the inn at some of the major places to camp), we enjoyed the trip up the coast, stopping and taking in some touristy spots and once again, enjoying the cool weather. We stayed near the Sand Dunes, which was a ton of fun. Brad was on the fence about it, but once we were there, and he had a chance to watch some ATVs in action, he thought it was pretty cool.
